Welcome to Connect
The Mission of St. Stephen Youth Ministry/Connect program is to provide an environment where our youth can find their faith in God, build their relationship with Jesus and embrace the presence of the Holy Spirit. We believe God has called us, in partnership with parents, to invest in this generation, guide the youth with our teachings, inspire them by our example and challenge them to fill their lives with faith.
Our Connect classes are broken down into two groups. 4th - 7th & 8th - 9th. Each group will have their own class time and the whole group will come together the last Wednesday of month for a faith filled event! All are welcome so bring a friend and share your faith!
We provide dinner! Dinner starts at 6:00 and classes are 6:30 - 7:30 and are held as follows:
First Wednesday of the month ~ 4th - 7th
Second Wednesday of the month ~ 8th - 9th
Third Wednesday of the month ~ 4th - 7th
Fourth Wednesday of the month ~ 8th - 9th.
Our Youth Group usually has monthly outings during certain Wednesdays too!
As part of our Connect program, our youth is given the assignment of sermon notes. Students will need to turn in 2 sermon notes per month in order to participate in a year end fun event...and to be confirmed. If you are out of town? Not feeling well enough for in person service? No problem! Sermon notes may be completed for church service, other congregation or online! Please click on the link below and print it off!
Form may be downloaded from link below or found in the back of church. After the service they may be turned into the Sermon Notes Basket. If no physically in our church, forms can be emailed to laidlawmom@gmail.com. This email will reach Mollie Maurer, our Connect leader.
